# 2. The Essentials: MixBots, Masks & More
Your journey in **MixMob: Racer 1** begins with two key assets:

**MixBots** – Your racing companion, each with unique stats that impact speed, handling, and strategy. Progress by earning **MixPoints** in Arenas and unlocking more MixBots through MixPods.

**Masks** – Your avatar in the MixMob universe, representing your identity and style on the racetrack.

#### **Currencies & Progression**
* 
**MixPoints** – Earned by competing in Arenas (Casual, Ranked, League, and Pop-Up Arenas). Use MixPoints to **purchase MixPods**, which guarantee Stickers and have a chance to unlock new MixBots.
* 
**MXM** – The game's premium currency, used to unlock **exclusive Arenas, items, and rewards.** Players can purchase and use MXM seamlessly in-game.

Jump in, pick your MixBot, and start racing. Compete across **Casual, Ranked, League, and Pop-Up Arenas** to earn **MixPoints** and unlock more MixBots through MixPods. Your Mask represents your identity—flex it on the track.
