**MixBots** are the core of your racing experience in **Racer 1**. These are your racing companions, each with a unique combination of traits that impact your performance on the track. Whether you’re a new player or a seasoned racer, your **MixBot** evolves with you, offering new opportunities for strategy and competition.

#### **Traits & Performance**

Each **MixBot** has different traits that affect how it performs on the track:

* **Acceleration**: How fast your MixBot reaches top speed. Essential for quick starts and recovering from hits.
* **Durability**: Represents your MixBot’s **health**. Higher durability means you can absorb more damage and stay in the race longer.
* **Max Speed**: The fastest your MixBot can go when **unaffected by obstacles or debuffs**.
* **Willpower**: Determines how **long you’re affected by negative effects** like stuns or slows. Higher willpower means **faster recovery**.

Base Unit Bots vs. MixBots: What’s the Difference?

* **Base Unit Bots (BUBs)**: Your **starter MixBot**, available for free. These **standard** bots let you jump into the action but **do not** belong to a faction.
* **NFT MixBots**: These are unique bots with better stats, exclusive faction abilities, and distinct appearances. MixBots enhance your racing capabilities and can be acquired by earning **MixPoints**, opening **MixPods**, progressing through the **BattlePass**, or purchasing them with **MXM**.
