Movement & Advanced Combat Mechanics

In MixMob: Racer 1, movement is all about lane-based strategy. Unlike traditional racing games where you control every aspect of your position, here, you’ll focus on navigating 3 lanes to outmaneuver opponents and avoid obstacles. With automatic acceleration, you can fully focus on timing your lane changes, setting up attacks, and using your cards to outsmart your competition.
As you race, your positioning and lane management are key. Each lane holds opportunities and challenges, so the strategic decisions you make—whether you’re dodging attacks or setting up your next card—will determine your success.
Automatic Acceleration & Lane Movement
Speed is always in motion, thanks to automatic acceleration. With no need to manage your speed manually, you can dedicate your focus entirely to lane switching. There are only 3 lanes to work with, and timing your lane changes to avoid obstacles, grab power-ups, or set up your next move is crucial. Your ability to read the track and predict the actions of your opponents will be your best weapon.

MixPoints are an in-game currency earned by racing in arenas, adding an extra layer of risk and reward to every race. You accumulate MixPoints as you progress through the track, but there’s a catch—if you die before crossing the finish line, you lose everything. Only completed races will bank the MixPoints you’ve gathered, so staying in control and making strategic decisions is key. Note that MixPoints are not available in custom lobbies or training mode, making official races the only way to earn them. Whether you play it safe or push your limits for a bigger haul, every race is a high-stakes challenge where survival means bigger rewards.
Card Details
To understand what each card can do, press and hold it in-game for more details. This is a great way for new players to get familiar with their deck and maximize the potential of their cards.
Incorporating new collision mechanics to add a level of strategy to your races!
Vaulting: When a front-to-back collision occurs in the same lane, the player with the higher Durability will damage and slow the other player. The winner of the collision will leapfrog over the loser to take the lead.
Sidestrikes: When two players collide side by side, the player with the higher Durability will win, dealing damage and slowing the other player.
Note: If you use a Boost Collision Card, you’ll gain priority over your opponent, even if your Durability is lower.
After taking a hit, you’ll enter a short period where you can’t be hit again. This prevents stacking multiple effects on you at once, giving you a brief moment to recover.
Out with the old, in with the new! The Spikers are replacing the Poop Obstacles. These dangerous new track hazards will damage and slow anyone who hits them, so stay alert and avoid them!
